Full course description
These grade-level sessions support the district’s moonshot goal of ensuring all students are reading on grade level by 2030. Educators in grades K-2 will continue building upon their knowledge of Structured Literacy, while educators in grades 3-5 will explore strategies from the Learning Framework to enhance student engagement with complex text.
Focus areas include:
High Expectations (Cognia Domain B): Implementing practices that challenge and motivate students.
Active Learning (Cognia Domain D): Engaging students through interactive, skill-building activities.
Sessions include collaborative time for reflection, sharing, and planning next steps to create impactful literacy instruction.
